Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Worksop, who are looking to welcome an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to their team!You will be joining a friendly and welcoming finance team, with a truly supportive environment to come in and hit the ground running! As a Finance Assistant, your duties will include:
- Accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, payments and other transactions for the Accounts Payable ledger
- Match purchase ledger invoices
- Reconciliations (including petty cash)
- Management of supplier statements
- Handling incoming queries
- Communicating with various departments and suppliers
- Expense banking
- Bank statement posting
- Stock checks
- Assisting with month end when required
What we're looking for:
- Experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Assistant roles
- Good eye for detail
- IT literate
- Strong organisational skills
