We are thrilled to be working with a favourite client of ours, who's looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team!

This role is working for a progressive and forward-thinking Sheffield business who have consistently hit all growth targets with no plans to slow down! In this position, you will support the finance team by assisting with finance processes in a high volume environment, and performing general administrative duties. This is an initial 3 month temporary basis, with opportunity to be made permanent for the right candidate.

As a Finance Assistant, your role will include:
* Data input.
* Process supplier invoices and credit notes into accounting systems.
* Process and input expenses claims.
* Prepare payment runs.
* Maintain daily cash books.
* Perform daily bank reconciliation.
* Maintain ledgers and reconcile balances.
* Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

The ideal Finance Assistant:

* A good level of education (GSCE level)
* Minimum of one year's experience in a finance position.
* Positive working attitude and ability to build relationships.
* Strong computer skills, including Excel.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Reliable timekeeping and work ethic.
