Finance Analyst

Job description

We are delighted to be working with an organisation based in Sheffield who are expanding their team and are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time as they are going through a period of growth and development. The role will report into the Lead Finance Business Partner, to deliver against the broader responsibilities and strategic direction.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing support and assistance with the development of financial plans
- Analysing the financial performance and forecasts of the organisation.
- Assisting with the delivery of robust management accounts.
- Identifying, controlling and managing risk, cost savings and efficiencies
- Providing impactful and effective finance business partnering
- Working with the relevant stakeholders in the production of monthly management accounts and the annual budgeting process
- Supporting to the Finance Team and Business Partners through the delivery of high-quality business and financial analysis


You must have:
- At least 3 years' experience in managing the day-to-day, monthly and annual production of management accounting processes
- Experience in using SUN and Proactis or similar accounting systems
- Experience in delivering high quality business and financial analysis, that provides insight into business outcome drivers alternative scenarios and options, the future business state, alternative scenarios and options.
