We are looking for a Credit Controller with experience chasing aged debt and a 'relationship building' attitude to Credit Control who is potentially looking for an opportunity to gain additional experience in other areas of Finance.
Your duties will include:-
-Take ownership of sales ledger, review, query and chase any unsettled debt by phone and email on a regular basis to reduce overdue debt
-Build strong relationships with customers
-Produce credit notes where required
-Monitor and report on overdue debt to management
-Setup new customer accounts and carry out credit checks
-Monitor on-hold list
-Send copy invoices and statements when required
-Production of month-end reports
-Coding of remittance advices
-Matching of credit card receipts
-Other accounts team tasks
The successful candidate will be:-
-Experienced in Chasing payments via phone
-Comfortable with all aspects of Credit Control
-A friendly and approachable personality
-Competent on Excel (V lookups and Pivots preferable)
