This is a position which has been created out of growth and is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation which has seen year on year growth. This position sits within a credit team of over 20 and will see the successful candidate receive full support and training from the Credit Manager and the Finance Manager.
It's a high volume environment which rewards hard work and would suit an individual who is comfortable working at a fast pace.
As the Credit Control Team Leader you will be responsible for the following:
Implementing new processes to improve employee performances.
Mentoring team members to ensure they hit their set KPIs.
Managing the credit control department in the absence of the Credit Manager.
Training new members of staff.
Monthly reports and analysis on team performance and targets.
Putting accounts on stop.
Liaising with other members of the management team to discuss how to improve processes.
Instigating legal proceedings for aged debt.
Attending meetings with members of the sales team and key clients to resolve any queries.
Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a Team Leader/Manager role within a credit control team.
5 years + credit control experience.
Experience of a full end to end credit control role.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
