Client Manager - Forward thinking accountancy practice

Sewell Wallis are currently working with a modern and forward thinking accountancy practice who really stand out from their competitors due to their innovative and fresh way of thinking. This firm are constantly growing and are now on the lookout for their next Client Manager to join the team.

Working with the management team, the successful candidate will have a major part to play in managing and developing the practice. This is a client facing role, and the successful candidate must be able to evidence excellent organisational and communication skills and an ability to mentor and efficiently review the work of junior team members.

As the Client Manager you will be you will be looking after a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, meeting with them on a regular basis either face to face or over video call (due to Covid restrictions) to build strong and lasting relationships.

On a day to day basis your role will include the following:-

-Managing and day to day servicing of a portfolio businesses
-Reviewing junior team members work and closely mentoring them on a daily basis
- Accounts Preparation
-Production of monthly management accounts
-VAT Returns
- Providing proactive Tax and Accounting advice to our clients
- Developing internal systems and process
-Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
