Sewell Wallis are proud to be working on behalf of a well respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Chesterfield, who are looking for a Audit Senior to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to progress their career within a supportive team.The audit senior role includes:
-The preparation of accounts and audits for a ranging client portfolio
-Liaising directly with clients at both finance and director level to ensure a smooth audit process
-Working alongside the larger corporate team on group audits
-Assisting with the development of more junior staff
-Managing a portfolio of clients dealing with accounts and liaising with the personal tax team on SATRs
-Attendance of audit and accounts client meetings, building relationships with clients and being the first point of contact for both the finance team and directors
-Effectively planning and managing own workload to meet internal, client and statutory deadlines
Ideally applicants should be:
-At least level 4 AAT qualified or qualified by experience from working in UK accountancy practice
-Have some experience in Audit
-Be able to build relationships in the team and with clients
