Sewell Wallis are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client based in Harrogate!

The position is a 3 month fixed term contract and will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.


Duties include:
*Process a high volume of supplier invoices.
*Issuing payments
*Ensure new suppliers payment terms are in-line with business policy
*Liaise with suppliers to ensure that all payment queries are managed
*On a daily basis using the focal point and dimension systems

The ideal candidate will have:
*A good general knowledge of accounting and / or bookkeeping with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
*The post holder must be competent using Microsoft office software.
*Knowledge of relevant software such as Focalpoint, Access Dimensions / aCloud CRM would be advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided.
*Good communication skills are essential, as the post holder will need to create and maintain effective and professional working relationships with key client personnel.
