Part Time Accounts Assistant.

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Assistant in Rotherham. This role brings great flexibility, with the opportunity to negotiate working pattern and working days, with the ability fulfil the role across 2-4 days per week (Friday cover is essential).

As part of this role as Accounts Assistant your daily duties would include:

  • Keeping the purchase ledger up to date.
  • Producing a weekly payment list.
  • Credit control.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting on the hire desk.
  • Covering Payroll when needed.
  • VAT returns.

The ideal Accounts Assistant will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Part qualified AAT or equivalent, or recent practical experience in a similar role.
  • Must have experience bank reconciliation, sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control.
  • Experience with Sage Accounts software.
