Job description
I am working with our client in Knaresborough to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join them on a fixed term contract basis of 3 months initially to support the team during a busy period.The successful person must have experience in finance and be comfortable with the end-to-end purchase ledger process.
You must also be immediately available and happy to commit to the contract - the business is growing, so there is scope for the position to extend or go permanent later down the line.
Duties:
* Processing bank payments
* Query resolution
* Bank reconciliations
* Updating purchase orders
* Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices.
* Statement reconciliations
* Processing expenses
* Intercompany reconciliations
* Assist with payment runs
* Assisting the FC with month-end reporting
