Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a vibrant and well-established business in Chesterfield, who are excited to welcome an Accounts Assistant to their team!

As an Accounts assistant, you will be joining a small and friendly finance team for a reputable and well-established business. This is a really exciting role with lots to get stuck into, no two days will be the same! You will be reporting directly to a warm and welcoming Finance Manager, who will provide excellent training and support to guide you through the role.

As an Accounts Assistant, your duties and responsibilities can include:
- Processing and filing of sale and purchase ledger invoices
- Investigating incoming queries
- Reconciliations
- Setting up new supplier accounts
- Assisting in payment runs
- Bank posting
- Credit card payments
- Assisting with month end accounts

This is a rewarding and interesting opportunity, the ideal Accounts Assistant will:
- Have experience and knowledge in a varied accounts role
- AAT qualifications (desired)
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be a good communicator (written and verbal)
- Have good attention to detail
