Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a well known Sheffield business who are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their Accounts Payable team.

Due to an increased workload they are looking for a well organised, numerate individual to join them on a contract basis for 6 months. You will play an active role in the Accounts Payable Department and will be responsible for:

- Production of timely and accurate statement reconciliations.
- Monitor/reduce unallocated cash on the ledger and liaise with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are processed to enable the allocation of cash.
- Dealing with both supplier and internal queries.
- Assisting in the resolution of invoice queries.
- Working closely with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are reconciled in time for the payment
- Answering telephone calls/E mails

This is a busy and challenging role and would suit someone with good IT skills, including some exposure to accountancy software packages and some experience within a finance environment, a background in AP would be ideal but not essential.

Excellent communication skills are a pre requisite together with the ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise a busy workload.
