Sewell Wallis have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts clerk to join a large busy team in Leeds City Centre as a cashier. This is a 9 month temporary position to help during a busy period but will be reviewed at the end of the 9 months as there is possibility for the role to turn permanent. You will need to be available to start immediately or at short notice and must have good all-round finance experience with a lot of involvement in payments.

Role: Cashier
Salary: up to £22,000
Location: Leeds City Centre
Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Your responsibilities will include:

* Update client accounts when required
* Prepare and authorise online electronic bank transfers; CHAPS/BACS
* Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
* Query resolution
* Confidently communicate with stakeholders to provide relevant information as requested
* General accounts administration

The successful candidate will either be an experienced cashier, or be an experienced accounts person who has covered payments and banking with good Excel skills.
