About the Role
Resourcer roles are an excellent first step into recruitment, allowing you to learn the ropes and how Sewell Wallis works. Several of our consultants and managers joined us as resourcers and through development and coaching from our team, have progressed into 360 consultant roles.

We’re looking for someone brilliant to join our Transactional Finance division in Sheffield, focusing on permanent roles.
Whether you’re already experienced at finding finance talent, or you’re ready for a new challenge, this is your chance to join a business that is trying to change the game.
What will you be doing?
- Candidate Sourcing via our in-house system, job boards and LinkedIn – you’ll cover finance roles at all levels, from transactional level through to PQ Candidates up to £55k.
- Keeping in touch with all registered candidates on our database to develop and maintain strong relationships with them.
- Leading face-to-face candidate registration meetings to understand what drives them and makes them tick!
- Working closely with the team to daily review all open roles, assess their progress and decide next steps.
- Ensuring all right-to-work documentation is in order.
- Writing and posting engaging job adverts to attract the best candidates on the market.
- Producing email marketing for active and inactive candidates to let them know about relevant job opportunities.
- Promoting roles through LinkedIn.
- Getting candidate referrals via social media and word of mouth.
- Finding relevant reference details for candidates and passing them on to our consultants.
- Maintaining lists of available top talent, updating regularly in the office.
- Passing on candidate leads to our consultants, and working with the team to identify target clients.
- Producing relevant market information for the team, including lost revenue, traitor temp information and details of managers of our active candidates.
- Helping overall with the accuracy of the information on our database – adding new client information and researching into team structures within our target companies.
Who are we looking for?
You’ll be:
- Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A goal-oriented person, who’s motivated by targets and the chance to earn more money.
- Able to handle the inevitable rejection that comes from working with candidates.
- Well organised, with an understanding of how to manage your time effectively.
- Someone who enjoys finding solutions to problems and is always willing to try again.
- A collaborative team player who gets stuck in and supports others.
- Someone with experience in a customer-facing role, working with people – this could be in recruitment or another sector.
