About the Role

Sewell Wallis is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded professional services West Yorkshire company based in Bradford City Centre, who are currently recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier to become part of a busy and supportive accounts team, with clear long-term progression available for the successful candidate.

What will you be doing?

  • Completing bank reconciliations and managing out-of-date cheques.
  • Identifying, allocating, and posting incoming electronic and manual receipts.
  • Banking office and client account receipts.
  • Checking and inputting CHAPS payments using the in-house Bankline system.
  • Processing credit card payments.
  • Preparing cheque payments and distributing them to fee earners.
  • Checking and posting bills on the system.

What skills are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Recent working knowledge of SAR.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong team player.
