Interim Finance Business Partner
About the Role
Sewell Wallis is working with a dynamic, innovative business based near York, North Yorkshire, who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an interim 3 month basis.
This Finance Business Partner role will be heavily process focused during the 3 months, a strong technical skillset and someone who has previous experience successfully completing temporary assignments would be desired, due to the need to hit the ground running in this role.
- Working with and supporting the FBPs/CFO and Head of Business Units, being responsible for understanding, analysing and providing challenge to the finances of your business area
- Own the monthly accounting process, together with on-going forecasting and the business planning processes.
- Accountable for month end reporting, including adding insightful commentary on key monthly variances for the results and embedding mitigations and new process where necessary.
- Preparation and presentation of Management Information and other financial reports
- Collaborate with other Finance Business Partners to issue timely and detailed monthly reporting out to the business to ensure they have clear sight of actuals against budget and forecast.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place and adhered to, to enable accuracy of the financial results and a supportable balance sheet.
- Ensuring systems and processes are in place for adequate and accurate reporting
What skills do you need?
- A strong, concise communication style
- Previous experience partnering with non finance teams
- Previous experience using NetSuite is desirable
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA
