Financial Accountant
About the Role
Sewell Wallis are working with a fast growing, innovative company based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in their search for a Financial Accountant.
This is a unique Financial Accountant role with a commercial focus, which presents a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified candidate to work in a varied, progressive role.
What will you be doing?
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support month end and year end closing activities.
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts
- Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations ready for review
- Oversight of HMRC reporting
- Provide support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team
What skills will you need?
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Part Qualified candidates will also be considered)
- Able to work on your own initiative, independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with finance and non finance managers
- Excel (Vlookups, Pivots)
