About the Role

Sewell Wallis is excited to be partnering with a well-established Leeds City Centre company that is seeking an E-Billing Specialist to join their experienced billing team on a 24-month fixed-term contract.

The E-Billings Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting electronic invoices, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines, and resolving billing issues promptly.

What will you be doing?

  • Prepare, review, and submit electronic invoices using Elite 3E and approved e-billing platforms.
  • Ensure invoices comply with client billing guidelines.
  • Monitor invoice status, research rejections, and manage re-submissions and appeals.
  • Partner with attorneys and billing teams to resolve billing discrepancies and narrative issues.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and client-specific billing requirements.
  • Generate billing reports and support audits as needed.
  • Stay current on client billing changes and e-billing system updates.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Prior experience of e-billing or billing, ideally gained within professional services.
  • Direct experience using Elite 3E would be advantageous, however is not essential. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal billing guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
