Client Accountant

Salary/Rate:£30,000 - £38,000

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a regional firm who are going through an exciting period of growth and will suit candidates who are either studying or AAT qualified.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:-

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Dealing with client queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Reviewing accounts and approving them to be sent to the client
  • Training and working closely with clients to help use the bookkeeping portal correctly and efficiently
  • Providing advice on tax planning and maximising tax efficiencies
  • Preparing self-assessment tax returns
  • Keeping fully up to date with new tax laws, rules and regulations for limited companies
  • Providing technical advice
  • Building, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients

Requirements

  • Ideally experience of working with SME's and Limited companies
  • Ambitious and looking to progress
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
