About the Role

Sewell Wallis is recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant for a small company based in Castleford, on a permanent basis, to support the business with its growth plans.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction, who has had experience working with CIS and enjoys the day-to-day of working for a smaller company.

What will you be doing?

  • Handling a high volume of invoices daily across both purchase and sales ledgers
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, answering all queries
  • Processing internal monthly payroll
  • Working in line with CIS
  • Chasing overdue payment and ensuring debt is managed effectively
  • Ensure all data is kept up to date on Xero

What skills are we looking for?

  • Have previous experience working with CIS
  • Previous of experience within payroll.
  • Previous experience working with Xero is preferred
  • Great communication skills
