Management Accountant

Sewell Wallis are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to work for a leading construction business based in east Leeds.

This newly created role is due to business growth and will report into a fantastic Finance Manager with lots of experience that they are looking to pass down. This role will suit a part qualified accountant who is nearing the end of their studies. Being an SME organisation, this role can give you excellent exposure across the entire business and therefore effective communication with non-finance departments will be key to your success.

Your duties will include the following:-

Month End Process:-

-Overhead Review & production of reporting
-Balance sheet reconciliations
-Posting of month end recharges/journals
-Raising Sales Invoices
-Maintaining the month end close on the system

Other Duties:-

-CIS Returns
-Corporate Card Log Processing
-Financial Reviews on Supply Chain
-VAT Returns
-Assisting with preparation of forecasts and budgets
-Providing cover for cashbook
-Assisting with Year end prep and production of annual results
-Assisting with monthly payroll process
-Other ad hoc & reporting tasks as required
