Sewell Wallis are currently working with a well known business in North Leeds who are looking to recruit a Group Accountant into their Head Office team.Ideally you will be Practice trained looking for a 2nd move in Industry, along with a strong background in group and financial accounting.
Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:-
Preparing statutory accounts
Assisting with the integration of divisional companies onto the ERP systems
Managing lease accounting
Balance Sheet controls and reconciliations
Analysing and preparing of the annual consolidated group budget
Liaising with the auditors
Preparing tax returns
Ad hoc finance project work
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / ACCA
Strong background in group and financial accounts
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
