Sewell Wallis are working with a market leader looking for an FP&A Analyst in a brand new role.

The FP&A Analyst will support the FP&A Manager across a wide range of areas, including month-end reporting, forecasting, analysis, KPIs and ad-hoc projects. Acting as a member of the Central Finance and FP&A team, the FP&A Analyst will liaise with specified Business Partners, Group Reporting, and other entities within the business.

The job;

* Partnering with the FP&A Manager and relevant Finance Business Partners across the business
* Identifying, challenging and proactively satisfying internal customer requirements to provide information, interpretation and insight
* Continually reviewing business practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance efficiency
* Analysing cost variances and enhancing the understanding of business performance to share with key stakeholders
* Assisting with the monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting process
* Ensuring financial information is provided on a timely basis to allow sufficient time for review by business partners and project leaders, whilst maintaining full compliance with reporting deadlines set by Group Reporting and Control
* Assisting in the preparation and submission of internal reporting requirements, including consolidated monthly management accounts and other ad hoc statistics
* Assisting in the development of accounting policies and processes across the entities in the steel division
* Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with nominated internal and external customers to facilitate achievement of service levels and KPIs

The person;

* Ideally qualified or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
* Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
* Competency with Microsoft Excel, including VLookUps and Pivot tables
* Ideally experience gained within the Manufacturing Industry
