Sewell Wallis are delighted to be supporting a fantastic PLC based in Harrogate in their search for an FP&A Analyst.

This FP&A Analyst role is a newly created position due to business growth, to support the FP&A Manager in ensuring robust, forecasting processes and solutions are in place. You will play a pivotal role in the FP&A function and requires someone who can effectively challenger senior stakeholders.

Your role will include the following duties:-

-Work closely with reporting and commercial teams to analyse business performance
-Challenge key stakeholders to fully understand how all business areas are performing, to provide essential information to key decision makers
-Assist and drive improvements and re-forecast the Group forecast model including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
-Develop automation of data processing to improve the forecasting process
-Ensure costs are tracked and forecast by division correctly
-Assist with transition to an FP&A solution-based forecasting process
-Monitoring of banking covenant forecasts

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:-

-Be reaching the end of their studies or newly qualified
-Have excellent attention to detail
-Be confident in business partnering with the wider business
-Excellent IT skills is essential, including Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
-Proactive approach and always thinking outside the box
-Stakeholder management experience or the ability to pick this up quickly
