Are you a hands on Financial Controller with manufacturing experience? Do you have strong leadership/management skills? Are you looking to join a forward thinking management team who are looking to expand the business? If so we are currently working with a business based in Rotherham who are looking to recruit an experienced individual into the below role.

The role of the Financial Controller is to play a key role in developing, monitoring and evaluating the business as a whole with the CEO but with a key emphasis on bottom line performance, working capital and enhancing shareholder value.

Reporting to the CEO and a dotted line to the CFO you will have line management responsibility for the finance team which includes three direct reports. Other duties include;

-Act as a business partner to the CEO and business heads, and play a key role in strategic planning and followup of monthly progress/reporting
-Be responsible for all management accounting and statutory accounting for the UK business
-Manage all external relationships with banks, auditors, lawyers, tax advisors and regulators
-Provide useful financial insights to help make better business decisions about formulating and executing business strategy
-Drive the annual budget process and all daily, weekly and monthly reporting
-Carry out credit, treasury, budgetary and risk management controls
-Lead system implementation project

Suitable applicants will:

Be CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified with experience working within a similar level role.
Have manufacturing experience and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced business.
Have strong systems implementation skills.
Have team management experience.
