Finance Manager - German Speaking

Sewell Wallis are exclusively partnering with one of the leading and most successful businesses based in Yorkshire. This organisation are continually going from strength to strength and offer a fast paced and dynamic working environment.

Our client are now looking for a Finance Manager to support them in bridging the gap between the German and UK finance functions. The role will focus around supporting multiples European businesses across the company and will come with a great deal of autonomy.

Reporting into the Head of Finance with a dotted line into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the business and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to minimise risk. You will play a key part in providing in-depth reporting to help drive key business decisions.

As the Finance Manager your role will also include the following:-

- Ownership of the audit process for the relevant entities, liaising with auditors in the UK and overseas
- Day to day financial processing for several entities in UK, Europe and beyond
- Consolidation of results and forecasts for management reporting on a monthly basis
- Ownership of the balance sheet to ensure monthly financial reporting and clear balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of management information by working closely with the commercial finance functions and FP&A
- Ensure robust financial controls across several entities

You must be a qualified accountant to be considered for the role and it is absolutely essential that you speak German. Experienced working for a US business would be a huge benefit however it is not essential.
