Sewell Wallis are working with a well known FMCG business in Leeds who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their Head Office team.Due to continuous growth this is a newly created role where you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all Financial Accounting processes.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, other areas of responsibility will include:-
Overseeing the work of the Transactional Finance Managers (Credit Control and Accounts Payable)
Managing payroll reconciliations and postings
Daily cashflow management and forecasting
Driving and improving new procedures
Liaising with the auditors, providing all required information
Ensuring robust control over all areas of the balance sheet
Reviewing the VAT returns
Implementing a financial control manual
Providing information for tax processes
Ad hoc project work to support the wider finance team
Managing 2 direct reports and 8 indirect
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Team management experience
Excellent reporting and analysis skills
Ability to interact and influence key stakeholders
Experience within FMCG/Food industry would be beneficial
This role will be office based.
