Divisional Head of Finance

Head of Finance - Harrogate - salary circa £70,000 - £80,000 - Hybrid working

I'm currently recruiting for a Divisional Head of Finance to join a highly acquisitive business that is set for further growth over the next year.

Duties will include:

* Responsible for the day-to-day management accounting processes for entities in the Division
* Business partnering with key divisional management to ensure forecasting accuracy, timely budget preparation and capex investments needs are maintained and controlled
* Ensure the monthly group reporting procedures and deadlines are achieved to a high standard
* Ensure integration of divisional companies onto the group's financial report and ERP systems
* Develop and implement clear and documented accounting processes and controls - including the development of an accounting policies document
* Ensuring that the WIP is converted to sales invoices and cash recovered in a timely manner
* Ensure all projects have their costs captured and that the divisions are using PO process effectively
* Manage the day to day banking and cash management requirements of the group including payment management and cashflow forecasting
* Support in Ad hoc financial projects as and when required
* Key point of contact and day to day management of the divisional audit as well as accounting & tax compliance
* Mentoring Finance Business Partner for the Division

Desired skills & experience:

* Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
* Prior experience in a similar role
* Experience operating within an Industrial Services or multi-site environment advantageous but not essential
* Microsoft Office applications experience, with excellent knowledge of Excel. VBA knowledge advantageous but not essential
* Knowledge of Focalpoint and/or Access Dimensions would be a distinct advantage
* Excellent administration and office environment skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to use initiative is essential and a proactive approach to problem solving
* Clean UK driving licence
