Credit Controller - South Leeds

Job description

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be currently working with a well-known, established company based in South Leeds who are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team.

The main duties of the role will be:

- Making high volume telephone calls to customers to facilitate payments with the aim of reducing debt and average debtor days.
- Logging and tracking of queries using a computerised CRM (SalesForce).
- Working with the finance team to escalate issues when payments have not been made.
- Creating electronic communication with clients and customers to confirm agreements and actions.
- Actioning of letters within the system as required to chase payment.


You will:

- Have experience of working within a Finance team and will have proven experience of reducing aged debt.
- Have experience of working within a fast paced environment.
- Be confident with the full credit control process and have a good track record of successful cash collection.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.
- Have strong IT skills.
