Becky Gibson
Becky is originally from Hartlepool but moved to West Yorkshire 7 years ago after graduating University in Newcastle. Becky has been with Sewell Wallis since 2017 and originally started out as an Administrator but due to her increasing interest in the recruitment side she became a Resourcer working alongside our team of Consultants. She moved into a Consultant role in April 2023 and now looks after HR and Office support recruitment supporting both the client and candidate side of the process.
Becky lives with her boyfriend and their crazy cats Lumi and Bambi, and outside of work she enjoys socialising with friends, going to the gym, travelling and going to gigs.
What’s your Sewell Wallis speciality?
I manage the HR & Business support desk, working closely with my network to fill permanent and contract roles.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
The interaction with the candidates and helping people to find their dream role – I love those happy phonecalls where I get to tell people they’ve got a job offer!
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fears are sharks, open water and spiders! The other question I answered was ‘if you could live anywhere where would it be?’, and my answer would be Australia, but clearly I’d just be frightened all the time!
