A fantastic Contract Accountant role has become available with a booming business located in the Worksop area. This role is an initial 6 month contract, with a potential for extension/permanent offer! The company are incredible for internal progression and training, a perfect role for anyone looking to progress!You will be reporting to a knowledgeable and approachable Finance Manager, working to provide monthly accounts for head office companies. This role will include the following:
-Balance sheet reconciliation
-Monthly management accounts and reporting
-Reconciling intercompany accounts
-Budgeting and forecasting
-Producing journals
-Chasing debts
-Exposure to statutory accounts and tax packs
-Statistic returns
What we're looking for:
-Part qualified/qualified candidates
-A strong understanding of accountancy systems
-A good verbal and written communicator
-Experience in month end/journals/balance sheets
