Sewell Wallis are currently working with a unique and highly progressive accountancy practice based in Harrogate who are now looking for an Audit Senior to join their team.

As the Audit Senior your role will include the following:-

- Reporting directly to Managers/partners
-lead audit engagements from planning to completion for a wide range of industries and size of businesses
- Supervise a junior accounts team
- Preparing year end accounts

You must have experience working within an accountancy practice with a strong background in audit to be considered for this opportunity.

*Need to have experience to work on Accounts preparation clients as well as audit work.
*Supervision of more junior members of staff.
*To work in an accounts department of 10 (approx.) people at varying levels
*Qualified in ACA or ACCA - preferably more than 1year post qualification experience.

*Work in fast paced environment
*Liaise with staff, clients and partners, therefore good people/communication skills
*Technically proficient
*Experienced with audits.
*Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Accounts Production Software essential.
*Experience of Owner Managed Businesses with varying turnovers.
*Able to work without supervision
*Adaptable to changing circumstances and tight deadlines
*Supervisory role with junior members of staff on the jobs the candidate is dealing with.
