Betsy Smith

Betsy is one of our Recruitment Consultants and she manages the Permanent Transactional Finance Desk.

Although her career path hasn’t been a perfectly straight line into recruitment, she is very happy to be where she is! Having studied Drama at University and been a primary school teacher previously, Betsy has developed a passion for people and relationship building that makes her someone who will go above and beyond for her candidates and clients.  

Outside of work, Betsy spends as much time as she can with her friends and family and travels all over the place to see them! You can often find her at a festival, scouting out the best veggie restaurant or going to the theatre. She also has a huge space in her heart for dogs and is counting down the days until she gets one of her own.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?  

The people that I work with, both internally and externally, are without a doubt the highlight of my job. Our office is full of fun and my colleagues have quickly become my close friends. Our clients and candidates also have the power to make your week great and I’m very lucky to work with them all.

What’s your superpower?

Positivity! I do my best to make the office a fun place to be and cheer people up when they’re having a down day. I do my best to see the silver lining in everything and to have a sunny outlook!
