Jenny Goodson

Jenny started her recruitment journey within the Education sector before being given the opportunity to take on the Senior Finance desk. Jenny jumped at this opportunity to make her mark in the world of Finance and made her way to Sewell Wallis following this sector transition. Outside of work, Jenny is a keen hockey player, playing for a local Sheffield team and when she’s not at hockey, she is running with friends in the Peak District.

What’s your specialty?

I work on the Senior Finance desk, working with qualified and QBE candidates and clients across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

What do you like most about your job?

The opportunity to build and nurture lasting relationships with both candidates and clients. I’m genuinely invested in finding the right fit for everyone involved—it’s not just about filling a role, but about creating meaningful, long-term matches. I also love getting to know local businesses and understanding what drives them. For me, the work doesn’t end with a placement; I care deeply about what happens next and how those connections grow over time.

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Nepal! I am desperate to see the Himalayas and to complete the Annapurna circuit. The views are supposed to be breathtaking. I’ve never walked at that high of an altitude for that length of time/ distance and it’s a challenge that really excites me! I love being outdoors, whether I’m playing hockey, going for a run, or walking along a beach or up a mountain. If there’s fresh air, a great view, and a bit of physical challenge, I’m there.
