Our candidates come back time and time again

We pride ourselves on our repeat business; we know our candidates and our clients well and they come back to us time and time again.

This candidate first registered with us in April 2016, and in the May, Faith placed him into his first permanent finance role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. He was a strong candidate with an excellent track record, and he stayed in this role for two years, until feeling like he wanted to move on. He wanted extra responsibility, to branch out from his purchase ledger experience and learn some new skills.

After meeting with Hannah in May 2018, the candidate interviewed for an Accounts Assistant role. He smashed the interview, and was offered the role in June of that year; it increased his experience at a rapid pace and soon left him in a position where he was progressing his knowledge faster than the role required. He’d also outgrown the salary level he was currently at.

In March of 2020, he came back to Sewell Wallis with enough experience to be looking at part-qualified finance roles. He worked with Faith, weathering the COVID pandemic – there was a lot of uncertainty in the market at this point, but Faith ensured she kept in touch and ran relevant roles past him, and despite the difficulties the pandemic posed, she placed him into his third role with us in November 2020.

He’s been there ever since. He’s recently come back to us to recruit for him, using Hannah exclusively from a client perspective. The relationship is open, personable and efficient, due to the level of knowledge we have of the candidate’s background and our understanding of what he would value in a team member and in a business. It makes everything much easier from both a candidate and a client perspective.
