About the Role
Sewell Wallis is working in partnership with a global professional services company based in central Leeds to recruit a motivated and ambitious Financial Accountant.
As a Financial Accountant, you'll take on a blend of core accounting responsibilities and sector-specific finance tasks, while also supporting key project work focused on streamlining processes. What will you be doing?
Producing management accounts across five business units
Preparing statutory accounts at year-end
Carrying out reconciliations
Completing UK VAT returns
Managing inter-company recharges
Supporting month-end processes and journal entries
Partnering with internal stakeholders across global teams
Driving improvements in daily financial processes
What skills are we looking for?
Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
Driven, ambitious, and eager to develop
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident with Excel and data analysis
Proactive attitude and thrives in a fast-paced, sociable team environment
