Finance Manager
About the Role
Sewell Wallis are working with a fast growing business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire in their search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will take charge of a new position within the business which has come about due to the growth of the company over the last few years. This is a varied role which will provide exposure across the finance function and provide the successful candidate the opportunity to grown and develop their skillset as the company continues to expand over the coming years.
What will you be doing?
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Support month end and year end closing activities.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Provide financial analysis to key stakeholders within the business.
- Payroll and Expenses, including PAYE, P60s, P11d, and pensions.
- Collaborate with management to provide clear, actionable financial insights.
- Provide support and supervision for a small transactional team.
- Business partnering with project managers to increase revenue, reduce costs and analyse profit margins.
What skills will you need?
- As a Finance Manager, you'll need to be /ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or equivalent QBE.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem solving skills.
- Able to work on your own initiative, independently and collaboratively.
