Senior Payroller

Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for a Senior Payroller to join a thriving services company based in LS15. This company is going from strength to strength and is now hiring to keep up with the growing demand. They are looking for someone with end to end, high volume payroll experience who can hit the ground running. Although it will start as a Senior Payroll position, it is with the view that in a year or so, this person would move into a Head of Payroll position.

The duties will include:
-Undertake monthly end to end payroll processing and reconciliation
-Being responsible for 2 of their 5 payrolls
-Accurate and timely preparation of BACS files
-Submit third party disbursements
-Ensure RTI and HMRC submissions are completed in line with HMRC guidelines
-Comply with statutory, client and company deadlines and procedures
-Process foreign tax payrolls
-Assist with audit enquiries
-Assist with reconciling payroll general ledger accounts
-Reconciling payroll bank accounts
-Assisting in the migration to a new system
