We are currently working with a growing accounting practice based in Rotherham with their search for a Semi Senior Accountant. This is an opportune time to join a firm who are expanding and can offer excellent prospects for career progression in line with your studies.

This is a forward thinking, modern practice who are looking to add similarly minded studying accountant who will be part of the growing success of the firm. Based just off the motorway this firm is easily commutable from Sheffield and Doncaster.

The position will be varied and will include; preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, bookkeeping, P11ds, Tax returns, VAT returns and providing technical assistance to junior members of the Accounts Team (and other Accountants when required).

The successful candidate will have experience working within an accounting practice and will be studying towards ACCA or ACA. Applicants who are degree educated or AAT qualified will also be considered. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be confident dealing with clients directly. To fit the culture of this firm you will be an 'ideas person' who always seeks a better way of working, you'll also be systems savvy and an intermediate/advanced user of Excel.
