Project Systems Accountant

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Systems Accountant to join our client, who are based on the outskirts of Bradford, on a temporary/contract basis to support them during the implementation of a new finance system.

You will have previously supported a business in an implementation of a new system, or a integration of multiple systems, and will have a strong background in financial analysis and cost accounting.

You will be required to assist with other financial projects and analysis on occasion to support the existing finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

-Assessing current financial systems of the business to determine whether they can be merged; making note of any strengths and risks.
-Leading the project and communicating evaluations to the FD and FC.
-Liaising with other areas of the business to understand how they use the current systems that are in place.
-Understanding the ERP, stock and financial systems to enable you to assess their efficiency.
-Ensuring that all requirements are noted from different teams to ensure the system can work to it's highest potential.

You will have:-

-Previous experience of implementing/integrating different accounting systems.
-Experience of working within a similar position.
-Good knowledge of cost accounting and analysis.
-Ideally worked within the manufacturing sector.
