My client are about to embark on a systems migrations project and require two extra full time heads to support the project.

Your role will sit in central finance, part of a new BAU team that has been created.

Our client currently has a number of sites around the UK working on the old legacy system, the project will be around moving these over to the Navision system.

The Project Accountants will be building new 'customer' files for the sites which will involve moving over all live transactions and open balances from AP and AR. You will be responsible for ensuring integrity of the balance sheet whilst ensuring the trial balance on the new system is correct for the 'Go live' date.

The project will run from now until the end of 2021, you will then become a permanent part of the 'Business as usual' team.

A varied project based role this is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing business.

Key responsibilities;

-Mapping detailed Navision chart of accounts to correct coding structure for consolidation purposes
-Match payments and credit notes to invoices before migration, either in legacy system direct (usually Sage) or in excel to forward to local teams to process
-Responsible for reconciling the TB in Navision back to Legacy System and confirming that balances on supporting ledgers (Bank, Debtors and Creditors) agree to TB
-To support and build confidence amongst members of the Finance team in the use of the Finance Systems and ensure consistent processes are applied across the business.
-Any other task, consistent with the position of Project Accountant as required by the Head of Finance.

You will need;

-Qualified/Finalist ACCA/ACA/CIMA or QBE considered with strong experience.
-Competent user of MS Excel.
-Comfortable undertaking reconciliation work.
-Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
-Able to prioritise work based on deadlines and importance
-A proven problem solver - proactive in identifying business/financial issues, recommending solutions and in implementing agreed recommendations
-Attention to detail in all aspects of role - consistently produces work to the highest standard
