Sewell Wallis are working with an acquisitive business in Elland as they look to add a Management Accountant to their team.This is a great opportunity for someone who is studying towards AAT / CIMA / ACCA or qualified by experience to look after multiple entity accounts and support the wider team.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing monthly management accounts for multiple entities
- Producing yearly budgets and providing comparisons
- Commentary and analysis of past company performance
- Quarterly group VAT returns
- Month-end inter-company recharges
- Analysis of large group invoices
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Standardisation of nominal ledgers
- Statutory accounts preparation
- Managing audit queries
- Ad-hoc projects and reporting
The successful candidate will have experience producing monthly management accounts start to finish, be comfortable using different accounting packages, be strong on Excel and have good communication skills.
In return you will receive a salary of up to £37,000, study support, hybrid working, company pension scheme, free on-site parking, life insurance and 33.5 days annual leave plus the Christmas period off.
