Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering with a global business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst into their UK Head Office team.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong financial analysis background and due to the growth of the business, there could be potential opportunities to move into a more Commercial focused role further down the line.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:-
Providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support senior management
Maintaining financial records and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to minimise risk
Preparing full monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly audit files
Managing receivables and customer invoicing
Managing payroll invoicing to ensure funds are dispersed on time for employee pay dates
Annual external financial audit
Assisting with quarterly VAT and corporation tax preparation
Liaising with Operating business units to ensure alignment at all times
Producing monthly reports which include key metrics, financial results and variance reporting
Monthly forecasting and assisting with the annual budget process
Identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the Group
Developing financial models
Ad hoc project work
Requirements
Qualified Accountant / Newly Qualified, ideally ACA / CIMA / ACCA
Excellent communication and presentation skills as this role will involve working closely with the senior management team
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
