Entry Level Accounts Assistant

Sewell Wallis are looking for an Entry Level Accounts Assistant to join our client on a 12 Month FTC with a view to go permanent for the right candidate.

There are two options for this role either a full time option or a part time option which will reflect in the pro ratad hours and pay.

The responsibilities include:

  • Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain the purchase ledger, including reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Providing support to Buying team with PO process where required.
  • Set up new suppliers and trade accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any invoice or payment-related issues.
  • Set up & maintain supplier records and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained and filed appropriately.
