This is a well-established, growing firm with offices spread across six continents.
It is a rapidly expanding office which has tripled in size over the past couple of years and thus would give candidates access to a large finance function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full credit control process, this includes:
Ensuring invoice debts are collected in a timely manner.
Chasing outstanding monies both over the telephone and via email.
Maintaining accurate notes on the credit control database.
Establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Meeting targets for cash allocation and debtor days.
Collating and reviewing information in relation to the ledger and reporting any issues and working with the Credit Manager
Reviewing client debt reports and identifying problematic accounts
Maintaining regular contact with customers to ensure payment terms are kept to a minimum.
Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Credit Control experience, preferably within a professional services organisation.
The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication skills.
The ability to negotiate at a senior level.
