Assistant Management Accountant

Sewell Wallis recruitment are excited to be working with a leading Barnsley based business who specialize in the Manufacturing industry. Due to expansion they're now looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress at a fast pace, as this role will progress to being the Head Accountant within about 12 months.

The role will have a strong focus on analytics as well as traditional management accounts, so you must have excellent Excel skills to be considered.

The role will offer some fantastic benefits including finishing early on a Friday!

The role;

- Posting journals
- Assisting with month end
- Overlooking fixed assets
- Reporting
- Analyzing reports
- Sales reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations

The candidate;

- Studying CIMA
- Experience in a management accountant role
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience analyzing reports and data
- Good written and verbal skills
