Accountancy Practice Manager

Job description

Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Practice Manager to join a growing and successful firm of Chartered Accountants based in North Leeds.

With an extensive and growing portfolio of clients, this is a highly autonomous role where you will be working closely with the Managing Partner and managing 1 Assistant.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing the production and delivery of a full range of accountancy services which include:-

Managing workflows to ensure deadlines are met
Preparing management and year end accounts
Bookkeeping
Tax planning
VAT returns
Reviewing client payrolls
Liaising with clients and dealing with queries

Requirements

AAT qualified or similar / QBE
Experience of working within an Accountancy Practice
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Iris
Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
