Sewell Wallis are working currently on an opportunity for a Finance Assistant with training to become involved within management accounts. This is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring up and coming Accountant to join a fast paced business who can offer training and support. They are seeking someone who has transactional experience and studying AAT who is eager to learn and advance their skill set.This is a role that reports into the Group Management Accountant and will take responsibility for;
-To ensure all supplier payments are made
-To ensure all supplier invoices are received
-To ensure all supplier statements are reconciled.
-To ensure audit trails are created.
-Selected balance sheet reconciliations.
-Calculate retentions, rebates and VAT.
-Assist with month end management accounts.
This is a rare opportunity and therefore one not to be missed!
Suitable candidates will;
-Be AAT Qualified or studying towards AAT and will be looking to continue studying towards professional qualifications (CIMA / ACCA)
-Have good excel skills including V Lookups, Pivot Tables and Formulas
