Systems Accountant

Our client is a growing SME based in Harrogate who have recently been acquired by a private equity firm and therefore are about to embark on an exciting new growth plan over the next few years. Due to this exciting new development, the CFO is looking for more finance resource within their team to support with the transition.

They therefore require a Systems Accountant to join their finance team to support with multiple Systems/process improvement projects and acquisition integration.

As the Systems Accountant you will be responsible for the following initially, however the role will substantially grow over the next 12 months.

-Support the CFO with project managing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems upgrade
-Project accounting duties for potential acquisitions on the horizon offering guidance and support across any commercial decisions
-Webshop implementation
-Budgeting system implementation
-Consolidation system implementation
-KPI and dashboard reporting
-Preparation of reporting and analysis to support commercial projects
-Support the wider finance team with any other as hoc finance projects
-Be prepared to support the finance team where any extra resource is required

To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally be a qualified accountant however this is not essential. What is absolutely required is someone with experience in similar roles who can demonstrate their strengths around system changes and improvements. Any experience working for a business that has been through acquisitions would be highly advantageous.
