Senior Management Accountant

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnered with a commercially minded organisation based in Wakefield who are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join the team.

This role will work closely with a newly appointed Finance Manager and an experienced, forward thinking Finance Director who is looking for an ambitious candidate that is newly qualified or at the final stages of their ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification.

Responsibilities include:

- Take full control of the month-end process
- Manage and maintain income reporting, including analysing and reconciling sources of income
- Provide insight and analysis on monthly management accounts
- Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet
- Producing monthly cash flow reports and highlighting potential risks or opportunities
- Collaborating with budget holders to monitor expenditure and provide guidance
- Support the FD with year-end audit
- Providing variance analysis, cost analysis and financial modelling to support strategic decision making
- Lead and manage a team of 2 to develop their skills
