Reporting to the Finance Manager your role will include the following:-
-Managing two direct reports, holding regular one to ones to improve overall performance and identify areas for development
-Liaising with internal and external audit and tax teams
-Working closely with the FP&A and Commercial teams within the business to understand P&L drivers and overall business performance
-Balance sheets and P&L reviews including variance analysis
-Preparation of accounting information and the UK statutory accounts
-Balance sheet reconciliations and preparations of complex journals
-Liaising confidently with senior stakeholders to ensure efficient reporting
-Business partnering effectively across the entire company to ensure a thorough understanding of reporting requirements and business needs
To be considered you will need to be an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with the drive and tenacity to make the required improvements across the business. You must be proactive and a confident man manager and you will have ideally worked in a large organisation.
